    RIGHTS OF OWNERSHIP   

Alexis Marie retains ownership of all artwork rights, even after purchase. Purchases of originals, commissions, prints, and current and/or future reproductions of any form are all included. The purchase of any product, original or otherwise, will not grant the customer the right to convert the item into an NFT, print, sell in any manner, or replicate in any way for profit .

Collectors are prohibited from reproducing works of art in any manner whatsoever without the artist's written authorization. Posting photographs of purchased artwork on social media is always acceptable and is not in violation of this agreement.

     RETURNS & REFUNDS    

All Art Prints: Prints are very fragile and easy to damage. Thus, prints are not eligible for refunds or returns. Prints that have not been touched and are still in their original packaging are acceptable for exchange. If prints are deemed unsuitable during examination for any reason, Alexis reserves the right to refuse an exchange.

Originals: All original artwork transactions are final and ineligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges. Original artwork orders are highly personalized and are specifically packaged with gifts and extra careful packaging with each specific collector in mind. 

        SHIPPING POLICY        

On weekdays, all orders are prepared within 48 hours of purchase. Your order is handcrafted directly from Alexis' art studio. Please allow up to 14 days processing time for normal prints (not embellished) and 20-30 days for original artworks, including embellished prints, to be processed. For International Shipping, please allow up to 14 days for processing time. We work hard to ensure that your order is carefully packaged and on its way to you as soon as possible. For custom international shipping, please contact Alexis on the "Contact Me" page.

All US orders are either shipped by UPS mail or USPS. Please wait at-least 7-10 business days for your items to arrive safely after receiving notice that your order has shipped if you are in the US. For International Shipping, shipping time can vary from 7 business days to 20 business days depending on location. Shipping times are subject to change due to weather changes or unexpected delays not caused by Alexis' studio. Please be aware that occasionally delays may happen if artwork is trending on social media. We really appreciate your patience and sincerely apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

If a mistake has occurred and you need to change the address on your order, please notify Alexis within 48 hours after purchase to ensure that your items are delivered to the proper location. Once the items have been shipped, we are unable to modify the address. Please contact Alexis as soon as possible using the 'Contact Me' page.

              LIABILITY              

Once items are shipped out and/or in the collector's control, we are not responsible for the products. It is not our responsibility to refund, exchange, replace, or compensate consumers for product damage caused by improper handling. This includes but is not limited to ripped prints, smudged artworks, etc.

Partial compensation for damage is owed if/when damaged items are received and/or faulty products have been shipped in our care. Every art product is monitored and heavily reviewed several times during our processing time before being carefully packaged for distribution.

Please properly and carefully read the product descriptions before purchasing. It is not our responsibility to reimburse clients who do not read the item descriptions carefully.

       PRIVACY POLICY      

This website is a professional art online store hosted by Squarespace and Alexis Marie. Your privacy is very important to us, and we believe in transparency. We do not rent, sell, or trade your personal information to any third parties.

When you purchase your artwork from the Alexis Marie website or in person, Squarespace collects the information you provide such as your name, address, email, and provided phone number strictly to fulfill your order and inventory tracking. Your financial payment data such as credit cards or debit cards are never stored, handled, or viewed by Alexis Marie. All transactions are securely encrypted and processed by Squarespace, Paypal, Square, and other billing services.

If you choose to give consent by subscribing to our “Collector’s Circle” mailing list, we collect your name and email address only to send you studio updates, inform you on artwork launches, and other email campaigns. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

Squarespace utilizes functional cookies and collects basic but non identifying data for the purpose of making sure the website loads securely. When you use a contact form, your email and contact information is only used to reply to your artwork or other inquiries. You remain in control of your personal data and can contact us at artwork@alexismarieart.com anytime to request that we update your customer information or contact history from our records.
